"The warmest, friendliest lodge/hotel staff we have ever met at any place we've ever stayed and we've travelled all over the world. Everyone was so friendly and it made our stay absolutely perfect. Service was also 10 out of 10! To all the staff at River View Lodge, don't change a thing in how you do things or treat your guests. You are already doing what ever lodge and hotel around the world should be doing. You were a very big part of what made our trip to Botswana so special and we will always remember you. Before we arrived we were worried about where we would eat every night and didn't want to be stuck having to eating at the lodge if the food wasn't good. We were so impressed with the chef's food the first night we didn't even consider trying to leave the property for food. Every day we were very impressed with the food offerings and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Botswana. Absolutely delicious food at the lodge! The chef and baker are exceptionally good at what they do! Lastly, we want to thank the other person that made our safari trip in Botswana a 10/10 experience. Matthews is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and we loved exploring the park with him everyday. Matthews, thank you so much for the incredible memories you have given us! Every day that passed we enjoyed our game drives and sunset cruises with you more and more! For a smaller lodge with a more intimate experience don't hesitate to book your stay at River View Lodge. "Amazing hotel, spacious and clean. I stayed for 3 nights. They help with the overall guest experience while in Kasane and the service is great. The food is always on point. I just wish they could add a fitness facility."

"Lovely affordable BNB stay in Kazungula. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well done. Staff is local, friendly, and hospitable! I recommend calling the Inn for driving directions because the Google Maps directions were on a more difficult untarred road. As the staff will tell you, most of the drive is on a tarred road and the end of it is untarred in good condition, I drove a 2 wheel drive vehicle with no problem. There is a secure gate for your vehicle. It is a 15 minute drive from town shops/Kasane. I recommend and will stay again! Thank you Lesego. "

"Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

"The garden surrounds and leafy setting around the accommodation were lovely. The soft furnishings in the restaurant areas were tired and a bit grubby. Dinner and breakfast was uninspiring with ordinary presentation. We found a restaurant in town that served much better food. We stayed in a glamping tent, which was fine. Suggest that the tents need a mirror in the bathroom and a bedside table. Towel racks or hooks in the bathroom would have enabled towels to dry. Staff were attentive and friendly. "
