The hotel is in very good condition. service for breakfast was excellent. we did not have the same experience for dinner when the team both on the bar and in the restaurant were not aware of customers waiting. There needs to be stronger leadership on the evening service. Dinner was Ok for £145 for 3 having 3 courses, this feels steep for average food."

"Love this Hotel. Recommend getting a cell on 'A block' upper levels. There's something very cool about exiting your room onto the prison landing with all the cells lined up. Very nicely appointed rooms, a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast was top notch. Town and station are minutes away on foot. Be sure to check out the original cell on the ground floor or visit the old jail museum next door. "

"Perfect place for our family of 3 to spend 2 days visiting Oxford. Teenager slept in the sofa bed which he said was comfortable. Nice walk into town. Didn’t eat at hotel but dining looked nice. Would definitely return."
