It served as a great base from which to explore other nearby villages and attractions, some even within walking distance using the trail whose access was literally behind the cottage. "Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...
