"This place is a gem, just wow... Where do I start? It's hidden up in the mountains a short drive away from JR Yunohira station. Initially was a bit concerned about how to get there but we ended up Facebook messaging the place and they responded within 2 hours on the same day for free pick up (they also do free drop off). So don't be concerned about the distance! Once up there it was a magical little onsen village, quiet and very picturesque. They have 4 private onsens (2 open air, 2 inside)....

"Great services from the host. Had a grate time in this Ryokan. Our family enjoyed the two main baths and super breakfast and dinner, the food was nearly the national top level. However a few things were not met the standard level. There was no hot water supplied in the ensuite bath room. The ryokan stairs were too steep for children and old people. And one thing you must NOT to do is eating in the local village restraurant. We tried to book our dinner a day before we arrived but it was too late....
