"The location cannot be beat! It’s perfectly located on the beach in between the Royal Hawaiian and the Moana Surfrider hotels. The beach access is fantastic, pool, outdoor showers, laundry, and proximity to things like Target, shopping and restaurants can’t be beaten. For parents with teens - this is a great place to stay when you’re not doing a VRBO which is what we typically do. We are a family of four and now we travel with four adult sized humans. That means everyone needs a bed, and having more space is necessary. Our room at the Outrigger was great. We had two full beds and then a couch that pulled out into a bed. A little tight for mom and dad, but manageable (and my husband is 6’2”). There were two closets, one was a walk in closet in the bathroom and was big enough to store all of our suitcases out of the way. These two things were game changers! The only two things that weren’t *awesome* were the noise from the nightclubs down the block (but the hotel DID tell us they were getting new windows/sliding doors this year!) and the rate for parking which was $60/night and more expensive than the car rental itself! I do think the hotel should consider lowering this as it’s a bit ridiculous, especially when our family members who are local told us other hotels charge closer to $35-45/night and told us where to park nearby for free. I think it would have encouraged us to have the car longer had the parking been more reasonably priced. "
