"The owner was unaware of our booking as advertised by vrbo. We arrived mid afternoon at portsmouth to attend my son's university graduation, but had no where to stay. We had to take our luggage to the ceremony and carry it to different locations during the event. My two daughters and myself had no car with us and mo extra money to pay for accomodation elsewhere, or even transport to a different property. "It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"Pretty house, not a lot to do in village but relaxing. Would have liked a bath with jets or a pool table/karaoke/games console for further entertainment. A lot of areas are restricted and most of the facilities cost extra. Pool was an amazing experience though and worth the extra money. Only qualm was the broken ice dispenser and not knowing beforehand, but not a massive deal breaker."

"We were a party of 12, including children aged 10-18, celebrating the New Year. The property was exceptional and undoubtedly one of the most stunning homes we've ever stayed in. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the thoughtful extra touches from Emma and Vicky—like the welcome hamper—were truly lovely.When one of our toilets didn’t flush properly, Vicky quickly arranged for a plumber, which we really appreciated. We would 100% recommend this house!"
