"We stayed in a room with a “kitchenette”. The cooking facility consisted of 2 low powered electric rings only and thus not capable of sustaining self catering guests in my opinion. However the evening buffet was well stocked and very reasonably priced. The accommodation I guess was built in the 1970s and is showing it’s age and thus requires renovation. "We were in the area to take part in an event so wanted a convenient, no-frills base for a couple of nights. Hostal Villa fitted the bill perfectly. Being located a block away from the river it was really convenient for nice morning and evening strolls. Our event was on the outskirts of Cádiz, only about a 15 minute drive away, so this location was convenient, but enabled us to stay outside of the busy city. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful."
