"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "We absolutely loved our time at the Green Dragon. Kristi was super communicative and kind, even providing a scavenger hunt for us! The pictures don’t do it justice—this property is stunning with the amount of detail and care put into it. Any LotR fan will love it just as much as we did! The house had great ambiance, was comfortable, clean, and we loved the selection of books, movies, and games. We will absolutely be coming back someday! "
