"Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. You can't be any closer to the night market and there are lots of great food options. We stayed several nights with Chiayi as a base. It was very quiet until someone checked into the room above us. On that night, it was clear that the soundproofing is non-existent. A bit tricky for light sleepers."

"We stayed on the third floor of the hotel, which has unique Japanese-style rooms. That was our favorite part, and we even had Japanese food delivered to the hotel so we could eat at our floor table. "We stayed near the entrance of the hotel rooms. Wasn’t sure if it’s next to the toilets/kitchen, we did smell an unpleasant smell but was still acceptable. The staff are friendly; however the facilities are a bit old. Wasn’t sure if they are mould on the toilet wall. Next to a 7-11 and was given TWD100 voucher per person for breakfast. Was great to spend a night here and walk around the area, especially you have young children. They offer a few free walking tours and we enjoyed and managed...
