After standing in the lobby while the staff unsuccessfully searched for our reservation, we climbed to the top floor where a stained mattress sat in the middle of the hallway in front of our room. Our room's laminate floor was buckling and peeling due to water damage, the bathroom door was broken, the TV and DVD player did not work, and the safe was broken. We awoke at 5am to a stiflingly hot room with no power or AC. The front desk agent assured me the power would be on by 7am. Then 9am. Then 11am. At 11am, I went downstairs, sleepless, powerless, and overheated, and someone finally accompanied me to my room to check on the issue. The man assisting us went to the fuse box and our AC came on immediately. He said he would be right back to help with the rest of our electricity so that we could pack up and get ready for our departure. After an hour, I called downstairs to check on his return. There was no answer. We packed up with no electricity (there was no window in the bathroom, so we showered and packed in nearly pitch black). I told the front desk that no one ever returned to help, and they never apologized. Then, they insisted I hadn't paid and demanded payment - even though I prepaid with Expedia and showed them my confirmation email. It took them 30 minutes of arguing to find record of my payment, and we left. We will never be back.
