"The lake view was nice, area was peaceful. You can hear the trains and the interstate, and there were some small maintenance issues. Overall a relaxing stay with a comfortable bed."

"I stayed at this hotel with a large group of children and parents for a tournament. Surprisingly, this location was a hidden gem! Very tidy. Friendly and accommodating staff. Close to major highways, and convenient access to local chain restaurants.…I was even able to have my puppy there. If ever in Chesterton again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room."

"the hotel accommodations were good because we had a room and a casino which is our main reason for picking Ameristar. The Starbuck's coffee machine was GREAT and GREAT price. The staff expecially handy man Brian was Great . The things i did not like in the hotel the carpet in room had a cigarettes smell and was stained. the fitness room lacked a bicycle for exercise and was missing 10 lbs. dumbbell's."

"Stayed in the older half of the property, room was still really nice and clean. Comfy bed and nice shower. Just stayed 1 night on a roadtrip, traveling solo, felt safe the whole time. Front desk staff was blah, forgot to write down or even tell me my room number, so had to go hack to get it once I realized it wasnt on my key envelope, security at casino was a bit of a jerk when I went the wrong way once. "
