The house is right on a flat cycle path on which you can cycle for miles, perfect for all ages and abilities. Louvigne-du-Desert has a couple of bars to visit and eateries. "Wonderful property, not too far from shops or days out to sightsee but far away for peace and tranquility. Good selection of dvds for the rainy days that we stayed in, a keyboard for the children and fantastic gardens to explore. Michael, the owner was so helpful and always available if needed. Very knowledgeable on the area too. We stayed here for 10nights, comfortable beds, was a shame about the weather as we could not really sit out. On the off chance it didnt rain, there were plenty of games...

"This is my first time renting a temporary house and, based on my wonderful experience, it will not be my last. Our family group consisted of my two adult sons, two daughter-in-laws, two grandchildren (4 years old and 15 months old), my wife and I. "Patrick's home is a renovated farmhouse that has been lovingly restored. It has three good-sized bedrooms, all with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a separate bathroom downstairs. However impressed you may be by the pictures, they don't do the house full justice and it is even more beautiful when you arrive. There is also a large garden, with outdoor eating space. Absolute peace and quiet are very much the order of the day, but if you feel the need for noise then there is nobody...

"We had a great stay in Jeannie and Paul's lovely gite. We visited in March so really appreciated the ready supply of wood for the log burner which kept us warm and cosy in the evenings. The gite is in a great location in the countryside but only a few minutes drive from Domfront which had everything we needed in terms of shops and restaurants. The location was great for day trips. We went to Bayeux to see the tapestry, to Fougeres to see the castle as well as to Mortains to walk up to the...
