"This has been recently refurbished and made into a hotel. The reception staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and shower was great. We have stopped in a few hotels in Sheffield when visiting our daughter and have always been slightly disappointed either with the rooms or parking. "This is an old hotel, which does need some tlc, however, the receptionist told me the rooms are nearly finished a refurb and whats been done so far is lovely. Our executive double was large, warm and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was served fresh, hot and good quality. Great location. Shame its £9 a night to park but as the accommodation is so reasonable we didnt mind. Much better than many other sheffield hotels."
