The area would be better with a car but its accessible by grab too which is how we managed it as a family of three :D A microwave in the room would be a really good addition. "Lovely quiet spot by rice paddies, about a 30 minute drive from Chiang Rai. Staff are very attentive and made sure to ask us if we needed a taxi to get into town. Breakfast is delicious and dinner is made for you at 1700 if you have no plans to eat in town. This resort made for a very unique experience in our travels to Thailand. "

"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. The shower was great though and bathroom clean, no bedside lights."
