"We needed to find a VRBO last minute between Ludlow & Hartford large enough to accommodate 5 adults & a dog. A beloved family member had passed. We had several events to attend in a few different locations. This was the only VRBO to meet these needs. I cannot thank Matt enough for his timely & helpful communications. "The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. So much to do and such a lovely location on the lake. I wish we had been here in summer, it’s got to be spectacular. Hot tub was well cared for. "We took our Mom away for the weekend and enjoyed an evening at the Salem Cross Inn. Accommodations were nice despite the cold weather. We found the parking to be a little tricky in winter conditions due to the hill. The bedrooms were comfort and we enjoyed the ping pong table. Plenty of room around the diningroom table for games and snacking in addition to meals. Kitchen tools need updating as well as pillows, blankets and ping pong paddles. Plenty of hot water for multiple showers. Porches...

"We visited this property for a short stay and it meet our expectations for the value. Contact with host was easy and property manager coordinated return of a personal item we forgot which was so kind.This cottage makes good use of the space and the decore is fun. Pictures make it look slightly larger than it is and all bedrooms are open to other spaces but for our family that was not an issue.
