"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"The cottage is lovely and in a great position with nice views out to the hills. It is well located and a short walk down into town (but probably a long climb back which we didn’t do because of the ice) The hosts could not have been more helpful. All the fixtures and fittings were pretty good although we did not do any cooking or washing while we were there. Beds were comfortable and we slept very well. "Spent a long weekend, Friday- Monday, with family in this comfortable,spacious cottage. Beautiful village that was a lot busier than I excepted. The cottage is close to the shops, pubs,restaurants and take away establishments. It is home from home with nearly everything you could possibly need "

"We had a wonderful stay at corner cottage and would definitely return! The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. It was our first visit to the Peak District but certainly won’t be the last! Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Bobbin and just wish it were longer. The cottage is cosy and inviting, and it was our perfect home base to explore Derbyshire. Everything was clean, Simon was wonderfully communicative, and we loved the tip about going to the Ashford Arms for dinner. It was so good we went back the next night. We're already dreaming up an excuse to stay here again!"

"A well equipped and beautifully located cottage. Good position for visiting Buxton, Chester Zoo and all the Peak District walks. Good Local amenities. Friendly owners on hand for any issues or queries. Easily sleeps 8 (2 double and 2 twin room) and has two lovely hot showers. Plenty space for families!"
