"What can i say except when can we return!! We were a party of three friends and styed for 5 days. The cottage did not disappoint. It was spotless, a good size, beautifully decorated in a style that suited the environment but with every mod con you need. The view was spectacular, especially watching the sun rise from the balcony whilst i did my morning yoga And the gardens were a sight and "scent" to behold. That evey little detail has been considered and no expenses spared for guests' comfort was evident in the fluffy towels, the bedsheets, toiletries and the very generous welcome basket.The staff were amazing...shout out to Nero and Curtis. The only thing i would mention is that the third room is not quite on the same standard as the master and second bedroom. It is however perfectly habitable and the bunk.bed comfy . Word of advce , you will.need a car an SUV is probanly best at navigating the steep roads up to the cottage and the first time can be tricky as the addres does not come up on WAZE/GPS so you wil need to try and remember the way from the Hermitage inn. "The property is beautiful, the flowers in the gardens, the lizards, the hummingbirds, the nightime frog serenade were all amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was excellent. The staff are the best thing about the place - charming, friendly and helpful. We dined in the old sugar kiln and the service and food were second to none."

"Had an awesome stay. The staff was excellent. I couldn’t catch the ferry at the time I wanted to (6am) so I had to make multiple trips to the ferry terminal and office to sort my tickets out. The staff offered to take me (free of charge) and each time they waited for me. They told me I didn’t have to check out so early so they gave me access to the room again. When it was time to check out at noon, they told me I could stay in the lobby since the ferry didn’t depart until 5pm. I was so appreciative of their kindness. I will definitely stay there again "
