"We stayed in the waterwheel apartment for 2 weeks with our 10 & 12 yr olds. The property provided plenty of space and had excellent facilities. It was immaculate with some lovely extra touches. It was a short walk into Charlestown which was the prettiest little harbour with a fabulous selection of bars and restaurants (check out the rum bar!). The beaches closeby were great for swimming & rockpooling, whilst the surfers beaches on the north coast were only a short drive away. There was also...

"The hotel sits in about the best location in Newquay, overlooking the town and the sea. The hotel itself is an imposing older building and is absolutely gorgeous inside, the room I had was a great size with a very comfortable bed. All the staff are very friendly and amazing with nothing too much trouble for them to sort out. This is the first time I've stayed here but it won't be the last."
