"Perfect place for our small family and dogs - clean, comfortable, quiet, well-appointed place with everything we needed for a few days. Lovely touches in and outdoors. Communication with the owner was great. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the world for a few days!"

"Owner lives close by. Greeted me he saw me walking down to the dock. Extremely friendly and genuine person. When I stayed it was pretty chilly but the was no lack of things to do inside. I’m pretty sure the is a game for everybody. Then the supplies to take you outside, we’ll again I think he thought it through fishing poles, kayaks (of course with safety equipment), canoe, and so much more. "I had a wedding in Richmond, VA and decided to make it a family vacation.This beautiful home was near Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown and offered fishing off a private deck.My boys loved the ambiance of the Log Cabin with the indoor fireplace and game room in the basement!I highly recommend this amazing home and give it 10 out of 10!"

"Place was quiet and clean. Easy access and good communication with host. It was nice that the living room had a door since we were using the pull-out couch for sleeping. We didn’t need to use the kitchen much but it had the essentials. Nice little deck and big yard. The temperature control was difficult, especially since it was so cold, and it would have been nice to have extra blankets available. "

" Very private, you can see the other house but far enough away for privacy. Home is comfortable and presents well. Kitchen is large and plenty of seating. Loved the primary bedroom, seating and closet space, so bright and sunny throughout the whole house.We enjoyed walking down the driveway daily towards the park, and the restaurant across the street was good, ate there twice.Shower was large and having the extra 1/2 bath made the stay better.A few negatives would be the full size bed in 2nd...
