"What a brilliant holiday. Jerome made my wife and I most welcome on our arrival and gave a full and comprehensive tour of all the facilities the property had to offer. The photos provided on the Vrba website cannot capture this properties stunning location, set high up on a hill overlooking the surrounding views of the hills and distance Sierra Nevada snow-capped mountains. This property is not overlooked by others so you feel totally isolated which was what we were looking for. The swimming pool is larger than most places we have stayed previously and is well maintained. There are plenty of separate terraces providing differing levels of shaded for sitting out and relaxing. Inside the property is very much as shown in the photos but fails to capture the size and space of each room, which is large. We found this property well-equipped clean and tidy. You do really need the use of a car due to the location and there is plenty of parking room for at least two cars. For my wife and I this property was exactly what we wanted, space, peace and quiet. Jerome was very helpful throughout our stay and we would not hesitate re-booking if we are again visiting this area."

"The Hacienda is a breathtaking property, tucked up in the Andalusian hills away from everything. Olive trees stretch out in every direction, and the peace and quiet is truly breathtaking. Our group of thirteen had use of the very handy kitchen outbuilding, and very quickly found ourselves in a homely rhythm here. We had the most relaxing time spent cooking, enjoying the gorgeous pool and sitting under the massive sky at night. Plentiful shooting stars: tick. It's not too far a drive from Granada and some nearby towns, all of which have interesting things to offer, which our gracious hosts were very helpful in pointing out. Tracie and Jay are the loveliest pair, full of tips and always on hand to assist with any questions we had. Well beyond handing over the keys, they set us up with some massages (Toni is a dream!), pointed us toward an epic tasting menu at a true gem of a restaurant a couple towns over, and even hooked us up with some charcoal for BBQing on a Sunday when everywhere was closed. Perfect for a large group wanting to role play a bit of idyllic commune life! In the best possible sense, you feel so unplugged from normal life up on this hill that to see the Hacienda in the rearview for the last time - even after just one week - feels like leaving home. It would be a real treat to return one day."
