"We had a lovely stay at Angelos Suites. Angelos was an amazing host, who welcomed us with an information pack of everything we could do on the island. He was extremely responsive via WhatsApp and even met us at the ferry. The room was very clean and the decoration was very calming and made you feel like you were on holiday. Couldn’t recommend Angelos Suites more."

Skopelos Town by night. Skopelos is a wonderful Greek island with an authentic feel and most certainly my favourite. Reputed to be the greenest of all the Greek islands it is covered in pine forests.
It is also relatively unspoilt as it does not have an airport & is not the easiest island to get to. Like nearly all the islands however it can get busy at the height of the summer.
The main town tumbles down to the harbour through a mass of narrow streets where rubbish is still collected by mule. The tavernas abound with live music & several well known Greek musicians live and/or perform regularly here.

"What a Greek experience! This family-run, hotel is like stepping back into a more simple, regal time. This is a stay for those willing to slow down, immerse themselves in Greek culture and enjoy a more basic experience. If you enjoy character, personality and good people this is for you. The amenities are very simple but adequate. The hotel is a bit like a museum with beautiful antiques and architectural flourish. The rooms have balconies with sea views and AC. Sure the hot water only comes on during the time of day when people bathe, but it’s rustic. Don’t come to this hotel if you expect every convenience and luxury, come for the experience and the family. We were lucky to be there for Greek night, when musicians come for dinner and the old patriarch of the family sings and dances. The festivities lasted late into the night. A true Greek experience. The food was authentic Greek and delicious. There is poolside service for snacks and drinks. The hotel is run by two generations and everyone was warm and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Step back in time, slow down and enjoy what is important in life, the experience, but, don’t come looking for Egyptian cotton bedding and day spa services. "

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The hotel’s location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the picturesque Skopelos Town, but far enough away to offer complete tranquility. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a charming island style, and impeccably clean. Our balcony provided stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the nearby harbor, which made every morning and evening special. The pool area was perfect for unwinding after exploring the island, offering a relaxing atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was recommendations for local dining or arranging excursions, their attention to detail made our stay seamless. great villa

"Lovely villa exactly as listed. Views of the harbour are beautiful from the balcony. Yannis and Linna could not have been more helpful from meting us from the ferry to organising our departure ferry and taxi to ensure we didn't miss our flight. If you are booking contact Yannis about ferries before you book as there are many more than you can find on line. The walk home from the town in the evening is a little steep but it is short - took less than ten minutes with the family. Definitely only get a small car as the road is very narrow. The pool is fantastic and well maintained and there is lots to do on the island. Would highly recommend the villa and paddle boarding at panormos, axia boat hire, Skopelos cycles night cycle tour and you have to go to the mamma Mia church. there are loads of lovely restraunts in Skopelos."
