"We love our stay at this place! It’s right in the heart of Jiufen. Living here for days gave us an authentic taste of what it is like to live in the Taiwanese mountains. The second floor view is absolutely spectacular. Top of the mountain unobstructed view where we can see the harbors and northern ocean. Loving waking up to see this view everyday! The place is also clean and quiet. Location is excellent, go up the stairs you are immediately in the Jiufen old street where all the actions are....

I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. "Lovely quiet property. There are a few nice hiking trails nearby and the ocean is only a 20 minute walk away. Tony and his wife are lovely people. "A surprisingly beautiful heritage house renovated into 3 rooms, with windows retained. The way it was built, the decor, and the house was designed by the hospitable host's husband. There was a pond with frogs and crabs in front and at the back of the house. Breakfast included a rice burger. Cozy. The host even showed us the room next door with the original kitchen and oven!
