"Surprisingly good hotel for the price. Room was spacious with two windows and an actual working hvac unit (rare these days to get one that works properly). No smells (like mold or even cleaning products), which I really appreciated. Bed was comfortable and sheets were soft and nice. Bathroom was spacious and clean (except mold under bathtub caulking). The hard floors keep the place smelling better and stay clean better, so bring some slippers. Breakfast options were good. Staff was very kind. Quiet except some traffic noise in the mornings. Overall a very good stay for a great price. "

"Enjoyed our stay! House was clean and in a good location with a pretty easy walk to the beach. Nice to have access to a private pool and hot tub. Easy communication with the owner. "

"I have a large family and this was our first big family vacation in about a decade. There are kids and spouses that weren't around the last time we did something like this, so this trip was a long time coming, very needed and an overall wonderful time! The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. I don't think anyone was prepared for all the steps as the number of floors wasn't mentioned, but we chalked it up to getting our steps in. The pocket doors make sense for space, but they were heavy and hard for the smaller kids and my parents. Not having sheets for the entire stay was the only real issue. Personally, my family and I were unaffected by this and we used the blankets provided. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back next year for more memories. "

"The property is spacious and was able to handle my family of 13 with ease. Short distance to the beach. Had everything we needed. A few minor problems but the management handled them immediately. Would definitely return to the Crabby Mermaid!"
