Hotels near Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station

"Brand new aparthotel in Xinzhuang. Modern design with adequate facilites, full-length windows and spacious rooms. Not a fan of the bathroom, which is where the room is at its weakest, being of a utilitarian design that comes off feeling like a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. Soundproofing isn't the best; you'll catch snippets of conversations taking place in the corridor especially from those who speak loudly. The working chair slopes forward at an awkward angle, and needs some getting used to. The pillows are woefully flat and offer no support to side sleepers. One nice touch is the robot butler which will bring items you request to your room. The nearby Honhui Plaza serves as your destination for food and shopping, but the walk there is kinda dodgy, with the main road on one side, and a used car facility on the other. But if you instead turn right when exiting the hotel, and round the bus park, you'll find a more scenic but longer route. Overall, Hyatt Place Xinzhuang offers a comfortable stay, but the surroundings don't offer much to do or see. "

"This hotel made the cancellation of my flight due to the typhoon a nice experience . First, the price was not excessively high. It was the only hotel available within 15-20 minutes from the airport. The staff was very nice and spoke English which was a plus. We were told we also get complimentary dinner. What a great surprise in the middle of a storm . The hotel is different , especially the lobby. You have the dining area as well as a play room ( massage chairs, cars for kids to play , piano, you can also play tennis). The interior court was my favorite part. They had about 4-5 dogs ( mostly Shiba), very playful and friendly. It looks like they have their kennel there. The room was very clean and made the experience a positive one. They offer toiletries by the reception upon request, however the showers had shower gel and shampoo. The bed was big and comfy. They also offer water via a water dispenser by the elevator, including hot water. I highly recommend this hotel . They were even so nice to call a taxi in the morning for us. I am not sure about the area since I was not able to explore , but regarding the rooms and service - 5 stars. "

"Great and comfortable place to stay. Close to the MRT, but not a lot of food options within walking distance. Breakfast is decent for my taste. Wished the room door had an extra layer of security to open with keycard like a regular hotel. Right now the garage door is the only security, and elevator doesn’t require keycard either. "

"This is a fabulous hotel, a short drive from Taipei airport. Right next to a great mall, and a bunch of local stores, cafes, markets, etc. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to overnight in Taipei, or for exploring the area around the airport. The service was excellent, the hotel is gorgeous, the room and bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast was incredible - many options, great selections, excellent service, and all at a very reasonable price."
