The location gives you access to some great marshland so you are treated to a daily dose of great bird sightings, including ospreys, red-winged blackbirds, herons and others. "This property was great for our extended family of 8 and could have comfortably accommodated more. The old charm of the house was enjoyed by all. Great kitchen, functioning bbq, large dining room table and a fire pit for us all to enjoy. The sunset was beautiful as we sat outside in the evening. Wifi is available but it is limited so some online activities may not always be possible - but not a bad thing when you are spending time with family."

"Even though the home is a little outdated with furnishings it was clean and had plenty of room. The property is large and you do need a car to drive to the beach area due to the bugs being extremely bad in the woods. We were not able to find access to the private pond to fish, the area was overgrown. Overall this was set back in a quiet location and no one bothered us. We appreciated the use of their home while we visited local family."

"Such a beautiful place inside and out! We loved walking around outside and sitting on the dock. The staff was wonderful. Sadly we didn't have time to stay for breakfast, but they were so sweet to make my daughter toast while we were loading the car."
