My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. "On our way back to the UK from the Landes region, we had decided to make a detour to visit the Gallo-Roman Thermal Baths of Cassinomagus (a definite must-see for anyone passing in the region), and we picked the Domaine de la Grange de Quaire as our overnight stopover a few minutes away.
