"Quiet, countryside property. Lovely swimming pool. Comfortable, well equipped gite. Good to have some English TV channels as well as French. The only disadvantage was that the Wi-Fi signal was poor in the first few days and then totally non-existent in the next week. There was also no phone signal so could not use internet at all for most of the time. It was about an hour’s drive to several interesting small towns, chateaux and caves. Local lake was nice for picnics and walks."

"Séjour très agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et très confortable. Une très belle demeure de caractère. La campagne environnante est belle et calme, ce qui permet de bien se reposer. La cuisine maison est très bonne. Les crêpes au petit déjeuner sont délicieuses, accompagné de confitures maison tout aussi bonnes. "On our way back to the UK from the Landes region, we had decided to make a detour to visit the Gallo-Roman Thermal Baths of Cassinomagus (a definite must-see for anyone passing in the region), and we picked the Domaine de la Grange de Quaire as our overnight stopover a few minutes away.
