"We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. A very special place, very special people, and surely one of the one of the loveliest hotels in the area."

The accommodation is very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by and using the pool. We particularly enjoyed exploring Brantôme, Périgueux, Bourdeilles, the caves at Villars and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this gîte and would stay here again. "A stunning house in a great character full town! The property catered for all our needs, especially with 9 kids ranging from 3 to 16. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very helpful which made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Excideuil is a beautiful town with great shops and there are a number of lovely restaurants in both the town and the surrounding area. The market on Thursday is also superb. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a relaxing break away. Thank you."
