"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

"Overnight on the way back from southern France. Very last minute. Easy to get booked in. Room was clean and bigger than expected. Staff friendly and even let us have breakfast even though they were about to finish. Very good value for money. "
