"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"We stayed here for one night after arriving earlier in Cherbourg. The property was easily found using a sat nav. The owner, Roger, was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable with refreshments available. Having asked prior to our arrival, we had a fantastic 3 course evening meal expertly prepared and presented by his young chef Brenda. "Single beds in large room were very firm and one creaked with every movement, We had no idea that building was either a gite or a B & B. When the latterthe kitchen/living area is shared with others. We left all our electronic and other things in this area while out the evening we arrived and were surprised to be joined by another guest in the morning! "The house is nice designed and keep clean. However the wc in first floor was broken, there was no toilet seat on. It should be fixed or notified before we checked in. The worst part is we could get hold of owner till we contacted hotel.com with the check in guidance. The owner only replied our message a few hours before their FIXED check in time, to give us the location of the key. "

"The house is in a nice location. The open plan downstairs is very nice and the lounge area has been updated with new sofas and TV since the photos. The kitchen is a good size and very well equipped, so easy to stay home and cook meals if you don't want to drive to eat out. The whole house was exceptionally clean. And the owner was very helpful. The only thing that let it down was the upstairs - The nice large shower room next to the master bedroom needs a toilet in it as the only upstairs...
