"Our stay at Borgo Sant’Ambrogio was heaven! We were welcomed so warmly and made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Borgo is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable, and located in the middle of Tuscany with gorgeous views. We were very close to both Pienza and Montepulciano! The on-site restaurant was delicious and creative for dinner, and breakfast was also wonderful! The whole stay was magical! A very special place, not to miss while traveling in the area! "

"This is a beautiful Tuscany experience. Very small property perched on a hill, very well appointed and large rooms, gorgeous views, beautiful surrounding vineyards for endless walking, spectacular pool, ultra-foodie restaurant. One warning, do not recommend this if anyone in the party gets carsick. It is far off the beaten track, with lots of curvy roads, and a considerable amount of gravel roads."

"This was our first time to Orvieto. This property is at the top of a small mountain facing the village. Wonderful view, especially in the morning with the sun at low angle. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had many options, and they will cook for you if you wish. We had a car, there was plenty of parking. "Had a very enjoyable stay at La Rocca. Staff was excellent. Breakfast at the restaurant every morning was very nice. Took a cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also did a wine tasting and enjoyed it as well. "

"She's a beaut! This property definitely captures the iconic Tuscany essence in the fullest. Would highly recommend making a reservation for dinner at the 'in house restaurant' while visiting. Make sure to talk to the host about specific transportation needs if you do not have a car upon arrival. It is fairly tucked away as far as closeby hubs."

"This property was so perfect for our Tuscany stay! The rooms are decorated beautifully, the grounds are gorgeous and it was just. Few minutes from Montepulciano, perfect for day trips. Matteo was kind and extremely helpful in all aspects, the communication was excellent. You can tell the family takes a lot of pride in this property and cares about their guests. "Breakfast buffet was extremely lacking. Units are rustic. Mattresses flat and not made for people six feet. Pillow like pancake. No laundry facilities on site or close-by. Units have no AC or fans. Hotel restaurant average dinner option. Food options are limited nearby as location is isolated. If you are an RCI user breakfast and cleaning fees outrageous. Staff was very helpful."

"Beautiful property outside of Orvieto with gorgeous views. Easy access to hiking trails and biking trails. Amazing stay. Wonderful helpful staff. A good choice if you don’t want to stay in Orvieto but want to visit Orvieto and do car trips to other hill town cities including Todi, Bagnoreggio. Also can hike to Rocca Riposena and Sugano directly from the property. "

"My husband and i stayed in the Treehouse suite for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was so special. Our room was nestled among the olive trees with a fireplace, incredible shower and gorgeous views! The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the service was great. The pool area is relaxing and has the most incredible view. Would definitely recommend this for a quiet, intimate stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Cetona as it was a perfect quiet setting to come home to after venturing out each day in Tuscany. We loved that only foot traffic was allowed for the most part after coming from the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi coast. "Excelente lugar para quedarse....muy comodo, super bien ubicado (en el centro), parqueo incluido cercano, la habitacion muy bonita estilo medieval con las comodidades y baño moderno. Buen desayuno, surtido. Muy bien atendidos por Federica. El hotel queda en un 2do piso sin ascensor por si tienen muchas maletas..."

"Great hotel in former palazza. Lovely staff. Recommend. One beware: if coming by train, Google maps will tell you the train is 230 m from the funicular. This is wrong. The 230 m refers to the escalator to a parking area. The hotel is 1.3 kilometres from the top of the funicular which leaves from opposite the railway station. From the funicular, walk up Cavour which is about 10-15 degrees on the left and is the main street. There is then one left turn about 150 m from the hotel. Use your phone. I believe you can also catch a mini bus or a very overpriced taxi from the station but we didn’t sight either."

"We stayed one night and were enchanted with the fortress turned hotel in the heart of Sorano. Our room had amazing views of the surrounding town, the breakfast had fantastic coffee and a wide assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries. The owners tour of the underground wine cellars and wine making process capped off with a tasting was informative and delicious."
