Their dog Tubs visited us regularly to check on us . It’s so peaceful there , waking to birdsong instead of traffic !! Would love to visit again ."

"Lovely little cottage ( the coach house) We had 4 lovely nights with our little dog. Very relaxing and lovely owners who were very helpful with places to visit nearby. WiFi wasn’t really accessible- however it was nice to relax without our phones and spend quality time together "

"The cottage was clean and well furnished and the kitchen well equiped. Had a nice outside area where we could sit and enjoy the sun and is fenced in which is great for small dogs. Definitely recommend staying here."

"We enjoyed staying at this cottage and it made a great base for exploring the southern coast of Cardigan Bay, which has some fabulous stretches of the coastal path. However, the cottage was really cold when when arrived mainly because the owner insists on turning the radiators to frost setting and then locking them. The heating instructions left in the cottage folder are really out of date and relate to a heating system that is no longer there (night storage heaters that the instructions say...

"We really enjoyed our 3 nights at The Smithy. It’s very spacious and cosy and well equipped. Good points: Cosy, spacious, warm, great internet, good kitchen, dishwasher, nice log fire, excellent pub across the road. Not so great points: Desperately needs some TLC, back door doesn’t lock so not the best security although it’s not a risk in this area, curtains are poor so we were awake quite early, kitchen utensils need upgrading. On the whole we would recommend but it could be so much better...

"The accommodation was 1st Class .. The surroundings garden and lakes were a credit to the owners . we had a very warm welcome from Beryl welsh cakes butter jam tea and a fresh baked bread . Could not have asked for more . Within easy reach or New Quay tried more or less all of the restaurants outstanding food . The cottage was a gem the host was delightful Don’t hesitate to book it ."
