"I liked the ambiance, the decor and the attractive lobby.Nic was very kind when we arrived a little too early and asked to store our luggage. Some of the room features were a bit worn: the toilet seat slid around and the facet was wobbly. The bathroom window handle was broken and wouldn’t open the window. I thought there should have been some instruction about the electrical. We couldn’t get the fridge to work because we kept turning off the master electrical switch."

But if you are just in Trieste overnight to catch a cruise you would be better staying in Trieste as this place is 20-30 minutes away from cruise port. " Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "
