"Wonderful place. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. They arranged transportation for us. The suite was well equipped with breakfast items but they still delivered hot croissants in the morning. The rooms were cleverly designed to use space well and still retain the original character of the house. The street is full of restaurants so you don’t have to walk far. Close to public transportation. Highly recommend!"

"Clean and conveniently located family hotel for a few days in Quito. Four of use fit in one room, and its private patio was nice. The water was hot and the included breakfast was reliable. There was street noise, but it was worth it to be just a few blocks from the main plaza. "

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."

"So, we were fully aware that Quito had power black outs. Our other accommodations told us times, patterns, things to be aware of so we were good. Staff here not so accommodating and they didn't say they had no generator. So 6pm came around and it was complete black out, not even in hallways etc. Had to go out for dinner by torch in not the most safe district. We're pretty confident and ok with the black outs, if we'd been told that the hostel had nothing. "
