"A cottage well off the beaten track. No TV and wifi for 2 nights. Then it rained and the cloud was low so sightseeing was out of the question. Spent the day blobbing out reading and DVD watching. Best possible place to spend a day doing this."

"Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away"

"We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the Modern Victoria. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to cafes, pubs and shops. The home was well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Often it is hard to find accommodation suitable for a young family and dog, but this ticked all the boxes."

"From the moment we turned in to a well maintained gravel driveway my blood pressure dropped as we drove up to Chaffcutter cottage, and when we met the owners who welcomed us warmly and who had prepared everything for our enjoyment, we knew we were in for a relaxing, care-free break. The magnificent old Peppercorn tree shading the front garden and the lush green lawns surrounding the cottage provided the ideal areas for our Cavoodle to chase the ball - and the birds. Then, sitting on the verandah...
