"Yes you have to stay here! Amazing we stayed from checkin to checkout. The lodge is beautiful the ambience was so relaxing and perfect for the woodsy theme and being ready for Christmas! Our king room was perfect we had a balcony and fireplace overlooking the village. The woodsman pub had great food and the complimentary breakfast wow!"

"Great place we had our dogs with us the pet friendly room carpet wasnt great it had ripples in it and the tv in the room was at least a decade old and may 24" a little upgrade would go a long way . Nice place"

"Traveling with a small dog usually means making concessions and settling for a lesser experience. I've come to expect that in my travels but this was not the case for Der Ritterhof. The aesthetic of the rooms, building and surrounding area is wonderful. The continental breakfast is a treat, and the service is welcoming, friendly and knowledgable of the businesses and things to do in the area. I hope we get a chance to visit again next year for Octoberfest!"
