Find Romantic Hotels in Central Stockholm

"I had the hardest time booking our hotel in Stockholm despite it being one of our first stops. The reason was because I had to make sure that the hotel take late check in. Hotel Hellsten does and it was actually a good decision. Breakfast was included and it was delish. They even prepared a to go breakfast box for us since we had to leave early. "Lovely hotel with very friendly and welcoming service at the reception. We were able to check in 2 hours early and there was a coffee machine incl. oat milk which was great. The location is fantastic just a 4 mins walk from the metro station and 3 stops from the old town. The breakfast selection was good as well. The only downside was the somewhat dark room despite 2 windows and very small and dark bathroom, which was a surprise. "

"The property itself was a great place to stay, clean and comfortable, with pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfasts were exceptional. Did not use the restaurant in the evening. Access to the commuter ferry was excellent. Unfortunately local road works meant we were unable to walk to Sodermalm over the nearest bridge and it was difficult to find an alternative pedestrian route."

"We had a lovely stay just before Christmas. The hotel has so much character and the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The only downside was the very steep and uneven stairs up to our room on the fourth floor. We were all slightly terrified by them to begin with, and I think they could have presented a real challenge for older people, or younger children. Other than that, a great stay and one that we'll definitely remember forever!"

"This is a beautiful hotel that is in a fabulous location of old town Stockholm. It is like stepping back in time. It was perfect for our 2 nights in Stockholm. It had a lovely breakfast buffet. And conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, waterfront and the palace. Highly recommend this hotel."
