"I had the hardest time booking our hotel in Stockholm despite it being one of our first stops. The reason was because I had to make sure that the hotel take late check in. Hotel Hellsten does and it was actually a good decision. Breakfast was included and it was delish. They even prepared a to go breakfast box for us since we had to leave early. "Cozy alternative to box chain hotels. Of the few hotels on Söder (south island). Easy access to restaurants, cafes, shopping, galleries, metro and bus. Cozy room with character. Breakfast had potential to be a bit more premium and with more variety but was ok. Overall a good value here"

"The property itself was a great place to stay, clean and comfortable, with pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfasts were exceptional. Did not use the restaurant in the evening. Access to the commuter ferry was excellent. Unfortunately local road works meant we were unable to walk to Sodermalm over the nearest bridge and it was difficult to find an alternative pedestrian route."

"A large well run hotel, a little bit outside the city centre but the nearby metro stop gets you there very quickly. The breakfast was amazing, too many choices "

"I had a couple of nights in the hotel by myself and it was a wonderful stay. Everything I needed with little care touches (earplugs, although I didn’t need them) a character-FULL old house in a wonderful setting. Would stay again in a shot. Maybe not great for people with heavy luggage and/or bad knees as no lift. "
