"We had a great time. Traveled with some of our elder family members who hadn’t been to Lancaster/Amish country in 20+ years. After lots of shopping and walking this was a great place to relax. Living area was very relaxing, we watched movies, played games. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling in a group. The 6 of us fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay away from our Usual Big cities. "

"This is a highly recommended stay. The residence is exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated, ranking among the finest I've encountered. Its proximity to Hershey Park, Chocolate World, shopping, and dining options is exceedingly convenient. We would welcome the opportunity to return. The basement is particularly noteworthy, providing a cozy and homey atmosphere for my family and me. The hosts have invested considerable effort into creating a warm and inviting environment."

"Our stay in downtown Lancaster at the row house was good. Location was convenient and walkable to most areas of interest. Communication with host was quick and very responsive. House was cute and had plenty of towels and needed accessories and kitchen ware. Queen beds very comfortable. Note: Stairs to second floor quite steep and uneven if you have any mobility issues. It was great to have a designated parking area for our car. "

Enjoy visiting Lancaster City while relaxing at this modern city home!

"This is an original 2 story row house as a lot of other Lancaster homes. Inside is wonderfully updated and decorated. Very comfortable. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. There is a bed/bath on the main floor if you cannot do stairs. Krista was very responsive for any questions we had. We enjoyed activities in Lancaster. There are a lot of one way streets though so a GPS is essential.Tours of the Amish community are very interesting."

"The Shoe House was the perfect stay for our anniversary. This is a historical gem you don’t want to miss! So much history and nostalgia exists within the property, it is on amazing grounds, and the hot tub is piping hot! Perfect for relaxing on a crisp fall night! Plus, how cool is it that you get to say you stayed in a shoe!!! The owners/host were super responsive, no issues with access, and the shoe had all of the amenities we needed and more!
