"Tunnelmalliset huoneet ja kokonaisuus. Huoneessa ei kunnon ilmanvaihtoa eikä viilennystä, joten yön aikana huone kuumeni turhan paljon ja ilma tunkkaantui. Aamupala täysin omatoiminen ja pelkistetty. Helppo saapua autolla."

"Very nice and affordable stay at this old wooden house that used to be a shop. FYI: If you book double room you share the bathroom, shower and kitchen with one other double room. It was just us this time but the other room is across the hall so I'd expect very little noise from there. Breakfest is self-help but plentifull. There is sauna available for extra fee. We did not try it this time because we were too tired but I dare to recommend it anyway. Overall definitely worth the money."

"This was more than a hotel it was more of an experience. Even the name is unique, ‘VanHa Maamies Oy’*1 is not a name that easily rolls off the tongue. The resort – we found out later that it had been a residential agricultural college, with large dormitory buildings for males and females – comprised several other buildings all looking old and tired. Paint was peeling, some of the mortar had fallen away from the wall exposing the bricks underneath. I was ready to leave and find a more ‘modern...
