It was about 1 hour drive, but worth it to have space to relax, craft, watch tv and a break from B'hams stress. The house had most everything we needed, very clean, quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping we needed and spacious. We recommend it for anyone needing a get away for a few days. Definately enjoyed the snow flurries. "

The view is enough to enjoy a stay without ever leaving the property. Owners are amazing and easily accessible to answer questions. Check in and check out was “easy-peazy” as a wise woman said. I would go back if only to recharge and refresh. A fully stocked kitchen was dreamy for a cook."
