"Went here for our anniversary trip. Had a relaxing stay. The room was clean, we appreciated having a small kitchen, as we were not within easy walking distance to “downtown” Anacortes. We picked the location for its views of the Salish Sea and San Juan Islands, as well as its proximity to the ferry terminal. "Just outside the downtown area but still highly walkable to shops and restaurants. Went offseason, so in-hotel amenities were either unavailable (on-site restaurant) or inconvenient (jacuzzi is covered, but exposed to the outside). Weird hotel layout, hallways would be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair"

Home Base to the San Juan Islands

We picked the location for its views of the Salish Sea and San Juan Islands, as well as its proximity to the ferry terminal. Most of the islands do require transportation to explore, but Friday harbor on San Juan island is at the ferry terminal. We drank cider made on the island, ate yummy seafood with an epic view at Downriggers, and explored a museum of local history. "
