"Wij zijn een week geweest met een paar vrienden en hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het enige waar je rekening moet houden is dat de grote supermarkten wat verder rijden zijn. Verder was het uitzicht prachtig en de omgeving erg rustgevend. Het verblijf in de villa was top, van alle gemakken voorzien en fijn informeel contact met de eigenaren. Zeker de moeite waard om naar toe te gaan."

"Great location and superb views. The area is lovely. Weather unbeatable. No mosquitos or flies and Orgiva is well serviced with shops and bar/restaurants. The house has got all you need and is very spacious. It needs a bit of update here and there but it's the countryside environment and we loved it. I would have given 5 stars but there was an issue with a nearby youth summer camp that played music at a very high volume, unfortunately. Not every day and not all day. Caroline kindly informed us...

"Loved the house. The garden is magical and the pool stunning, lots of lovely places to sit and eat outside. I especially liked my room at the end with the onsuite bathroom, gorgeous decor and tiles. Only one issue which is the 2 central bedrooms were abit too hot at night, aircon in those would really help.. would book again. Maybe the dark blue doesn’t help? "

"We loved this sweet little cottage in its own orange grove with ancient olive trees all around... we could have stayed longer! Perfect location from which to explore the superb hiking and beautiful villages further into the Alpujarras while also being less than an hour's drive from Granada and the coast. "We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Cortijo Caliz. As a family we love staying in rural Spain and have stayed in many regions and many villas but this has to be the best! The villa itself is spacious, with a bright living area, a well equipped kitchen and huge bedrooms. There were 5 of us most of the time with an additional 2 guests for a couple of nights. We could easily have had more of us without impacting on space. Three bathrooms mean it’s perfect for multiple families staying...

"The property was wonderful. The house was comfortable very spacious for the six of us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed unlike the two other VRBO‘s we rented. the view from the house was spectacular. We ate dinners at the house, but were out for a midday meal, and found an incredible Indian restaurant and several others. "We had a perfect holiday at Cortijo Alba Rosa! The house was lovely and comfortable and the infinity pool spectacular. The views from the house were amazing too and we enjoyed day trips to Granada, the beach and the nearby reservoir for paddleboarding and swimming.
