"A little tropical paradise. Perfect setting next to the water and total seclusion at bottom of valley. There was no-one staying in the second property by the water but don't think it would have changed our opinion. "The villa could be amazing. It has a great layout with so much space and facilities. The host was easy to contact and accomodating. The views from the villa are absolutely stunning. The only thing that lets the villa down is the cleanliness. My son cut his foot open on broken glass that was just left on the floor, there were lots of cigarette ends everywhere, the were no bags for bins provoded and all things such as cushions and blankets smelt like they needed a good clean. "The accommodation was in a beautiful tranquil setting. We really felt that we had a relaxing break in Celerico de Basto. Lovely pool and even a little lake to row a boat on much to the delight of the children. The kitchen was a slightly strange set up but we soon got used to cooking on the BBQ . Only down side was the kitchen sink. No hot water and sink was very small in the kitchen area. We had to boil water on hob for washing up. To be honest we got used to it and we managed fine .
