"We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend! "

"Don’t listen to the bad reviews. We stayed here thinking this would be one of the lower end hotels visited during our trip to Europe and honestly we liked it as one of the best. Our room was very clean and tidy, smelled fresh, view was nice, area was easy to catch the bus into town, the staff were helpful. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk into the old town but we knew that when booking and the nighttime walks felt unsafe so we took the bus instead. Otherwise would stay here again. "

"We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car.
