"All the staff were very friendly and welcoming! The hotel was only a few minutes walk to the beach and there were a variety of modest dining options on the beach or near the town square. The hotel had a food service and weekend bar service. We really enjoyed the pool area and spent some relaxing by the pool. We were picked up at the hotel to go on a fabulous guided canoe tour through the mangroves where we saw a large variety of birds including flamingos! The hotel staff helped us with the motel taxi transport to the tour site. Make sure you book a room with a window view. Thanks again to all the staff at this wonderful hotel. "Relaxing and lovely spot, can’t beat the beautiful beach right out the door with pelicans floating by. Setting is definitely unique, but friendly and chill and the space very comfortable. In particular we really enjoyed the pool for our 2 year old. Some minor mishaps in communication ahead of check in but they were resolved with care and responsiveness, and we got to thoroughly enjoy the weekend. "

"Easy parking right in front of the room with a gate to protect the car. Very safe area. Across the street from the beach. WiFi and AC. Only thing to note is you cannot pay with a credit card for the room once you get there, only cash. So make sure to pay beforehand and bring a record of the receipt "
