"The unit was clean and spacious. Central location in the historical district. Near bus. stops and the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The only complaints that we have is that the bathroom sink drain was very slow and it took about 3 days and a few reminders to fix it. That was very inconvenient. Also, no hand towels or dish towels. The first few days the towels were locked up too."

"Italo, Etta, and Vera are the ultimate hosts; they provided great input to questions we had before arrival and during our stay. They shared their own wine and olives with us, provided fresh herbs from their garden for our dinner and welcomed us into their family. At the same time they provided privacy and let us enjoy the pool and house. A great place to stay and explore Tuscany."

"We stayed in Lucca for two nights and LOVED this location. Very comfortable apartment. Bedrooms and bathrooms came well equipped. Living space is lovely. Easy to rent bikes and ride/walk the wall. Lots of local places to shop for food, farmacy, drinks and shopping just steps from the front door. Easy and quick communication with Gianluca, and Isabella. We needed a doctor for our daughter one night, and he helped us find one. Would stay here again if we come back to this region. 10 out of 10 for...

"Our visit could not have been better. Our hosts, Silvia and Luca, spent about 45 minutes with us at check in helping to understand the neighborhood. Apartment was sparking clean and very comfortable. Would have liked to be a bit closer to city center BUT we were able to use Uber successfully. Definitely recommend Casa Amelia! ❤️💛❤️💚❤️"

"Riverfront location a pleasant 20mins walk to town. Equipped kitchen to enable self catering, lovely view of river and park. Cosy apartment-lovely and warm and good bedding. Unit needs a little TLC/maintenance-Some mould, peeling paint etc. Enjoyed our stay in Florence and quieter end of town. "
