"My family came there from MD for our father’s funeral and the location was perfect. The house was just perfect. Loved that we all had our room with tv and full kitchen and comfortable living room for hanging out. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in town."

"Our family of five had another place booked for a ski trip to Greek Peak, and that reservation fell through the day before our trip, due to a problem at the house. After scrambling through VRBO, we found this house and were able to book it last minute. What luck that turned out to be! The house is warm and inviting, really well furnished and stocked, couches and beds both super comfy, and the fireplace completes the vibe. The back porch overlooks Song Lake, which is as beautiful as its name....

"It was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time. It was a very snowy weekend, so we ended up spending a lot of time at the house. The views are just spectacular, and the place just has such a unique and fun vibe. We enjoyed being able to eat meals together at the dining table and make use of the full kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals and there is also an extensive binder with great information about restaurants and attractions nearby. The house was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. "nice stay but the bathrooms and kitchen appliances and utensils needed to be cleaned before use, they were not that bad but needed to be wiped down. Nice rooms and comfortable. Outdoor maintenance was not very good, we had to handle our own snow removal."

"We really enjoyed our stay right on the lake! The neighborhood was quiet and great for talking walks. We enjoyed the firepit with a perfect view of the water. The pace was clean, updated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay."

"House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome...

"We had an amazing time staying at Bob and Katie's place! We visited during the peak of winter and experienced lots of snow, which gave us breathtaking views—absolutely beautiful. The house was well-heated and fully equipped, perfect for spending cozy moments indoors. Plus, there’s a convenience store just 3 minutes away with everything you might need. Highly recommend it!"

"The location and house are great! Only down side to the property is a rock wall that is between the house and lake that makes it harder to access in the winter. Overall, extremely clean inside and I will definitely be coming back!"

"The location couldn’t have been better. We had to shovel out the all the exits (in case we needed them) and lucky we had a shovel with us as there were none there. Other than that, the place was perfect for three old ice fishermen. "
