"We arrived at this location and met with the owner and did not unpack or stay there. We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. We took pictures and sent to Vrbo and Agency Herez of brown stained pillows, old bed blankets, broken and filthy shower and the whole place is old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on the website. We have tried to claim for a refund and Vrbo just passed us over to the...

"It is difficult to find new words to add to previous glowing reports in praise of this beautiful house and its stunning grounds. The accommodation was perfect for our party of six, with the lower ground floor bedrooms providing extra privacy and separate access. "We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children all under 7 and we had a holiday to remember that met all our needs. The house is beautiful and very spacious and the garden and pool were great in the hot, sunny weather we were lucky to have. The house is set in lovely countryside with lots of walks and fresh bread and groceries just a short walk through the vineyards in Douelle. Would definitely recommend!"

"This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. "Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
