"Me encantó el lugar. Muy bonito todo y las de recepción fueron muy amables. Lo único que no me gustó fue el servicio del restaurante. Éramos 2-3 familias y la mesera se tardó mucho en atendernos. También pedí room service para mi hijo que se enfermó y el firmó cuando llegó por que me encontraba afuera y me cobraron dos tragos de liquor que yo no ordené. Yo creeo que fue aproposito por que la que me contestó tenía una actitud muy fea. "

"It's amazing to see that very few minor things are not in place after having the island destroyed by a hurricane a few years ago. The hotel has everything you need. You must know that in San Andres you won't find extreme luxury in the hotels and pretty much nowhere around the island. "Very nice property modern large clean rooms. From what I saw was nicest property in town. One draw back that was out of the hotel’s control is the towns lack of potable water. You could not drink the water and the town had a constant smell of open sewer. Beach’s were offf the chart gorgeous and the people were very friendly and helpful throughout the experience at the hotel and the town."

"Excellent place to stay in san andres. Location was great! They just renovated so everything is perfectly clean and new. The only downside for me was the shower. We never got hot water. The explain we need it to let the water run for a while but nothing. Also the water presure on the shower was very low. Other than that Highly recommended. The huge plus was you not only can leave your suitcases there if you have later flight but they aslo have shower on the side so you can enjoy the beach a...

"The staff, food, and drinks were amazing, however the room was smaller than expected. The bathroom was clean and beautiful and had hot water all the time. My only dislike is that the sheets inly get turned every 3 days and I stayed for 4 days without them once being changed!"

"You can’t expect too much because you’re on the island but for the value, it’s a great price. The air conditioner could not get the room cold enough and it was hot. The whole time the view is beautiful and the staff was great. It’s just an old Hotel my tile was broken in the shower and Online it shows bathtub. They don’t have bathtubs if you’re on a budget. It’s a great place to stay. "

"It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach boardwalk and on to zona Rosa but it’s a really nice property and worth the walk in the warm breeze "

"Overall, the hotel was decent. The best aspects were the location, the buffet, and the swimming pool. Unfortunately, the hotel—especially the room—was not very clean. I took a few photos showing how mouldy some parts of the toilet were. They really need to fix the ventilation system. All the staff were lovely, except for the lady at the reception. Her cocky attitude definitely takes some points off the hotel review."

"The property was maitained daily by the cleaning staff. It was always someone somewhere ensuring that the property was in pristine condition. The property is a bit dated but it is convenient to everything you need. The beach and main boardwalk is a two minute saunter. Venodors serve great food and drinks as well as trinkets to being home. "

"The staff is AMAZING. The food is delicious and the drinks are good ! You can tell the staff appreciate their work. They stay on top of cleaning the hotel and taking care of it but sadly the hotel itself needs work and re-modeling- the staff can only do so much. "

"Great location, and excellent staff It was an easy 10-15 minute walk from the airport and I felt safe even though it was nighttime. Only 2 blocks from the grocery store, and seemed to be at the edge of all the main city attractions, but far enough away to be quiet on a Saturday night. The room was essentially what I expected, but the window went to the hallway so it might as well have not had a window at all (standard room option)"

"Getting in contact with anyone was impossible. I kept getting notifications through Expedia with numbers to call, but three different numbers were disconnected. I had to end up staying elsewhere. "

Wonderful vacation

"This was my first visit to San Andres. I was very pleased with the Aquamare. There was a minor problem with the room I had reserved and management immediately resolved it by upgrading my room. Staff members were all wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay fun and enjoyable."
