"Just returned from a lovely holiday at Bovisand. The views across Plymouth sound were amazing and the kids had a great time. Everything was just as described and our hosts were everything you could ask for. I only had very minor issues. The first being the road into the estate is not for the faint hearted, very narrow single track road with limited visibilty. Had a couple of near misses with drivers driving too fast. "Just what we wanted. We were so lucky with the weather, that we were able to sit out on the patio every day. Just watching all sorts of activities going on, on the water. Maggie, was lovely to chat to. Lovely accommodation, lovely spot."

"We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀"

"The accommodation is nice enough, but not amazing. It’s not the most modern or new decor. The furniture is very large for the space and all the cupboards and drawers could use a declutter. Very busy feeling inside. We visited in covid times, so there were no facilities at the site - the cafe was never open. The location didn’t suit our family. "This is an amazing location, feel like your floating 50feet above the sea. Love Kingsands anyway and have for years. Only down side is no outside space at all to store paddle boards etc or dry stuff. But the village is tight for space everywhere."

"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "
